Spitshine Flicks (IMDB) is a Latinx-owned film production and development company operating in Musqueam, Squamish, and Tsleil-Waututh territories (Vancouver, BC) founded in 2005 by Leo Award winning Venezuelan-Canadian filmmaker Javier Badillo (IMDB).

We specialize in producing original and exciting entertainment that connects and resonates with modern audiences, in a world that demands an emboldened sense of compassion and accountability. 

 

We pride ourselves with the work we create in collaboration with underrepresented groups in our society, and are strong allies of LGBTQ2S+, Indigenous, and BPOC communities. We value inclusivity over profits, and we believe our movies (and our world) are better for it.
